About the team

The Group Marketing & BD team supports country activity as well as group sector and service line leaders to achieve commercial objectives through tailored marketing and BD strategies and operations. Working closely with Forvis Mazars Group marketing, brand, communication, digital and marketing teams, the BD team develops BD-related infrastructure for use by countries, provides advice on BD and tender development and runs the Group BD Network.

Today, we are looking for an innovative and internationally minded Business Development (BD) professional to join our team.

You will:

About the role:

Reporting to the Group Business Development Director, the role will be focused on providing support to global BD activity, working closely with the Group marketing team as well as business community leaders and country marketing and BD teams.

Key responsibilities:

Support Forvis Mazars Group-driven BD infrastructure and advisory work by developing resources, gathering and sharing key data and helping on global tenders.

This will include:

  • maintaining and developing our BD tools; resources and data:
    • Supporting the on-going maintenance and development of our global database of clients and prospects.
    • Supporting the collection and communication of new business wins and the ongoing development of the Credentials database, working closely with the marketing team to develop case studies and gather testimonials.
    • Managing the development of existing and new business tools to support client-facing teams with business development and tendering.
    • Project managing a new knowledge bank to bring together data for use in tenders.
    • Inputting to a Gen AI project to generate content for tenders.
    • Updating the Group BD Support area of our Group intranet e.g. adding new and updated content (templates, presentations, documents) and amending navigation as necessary.
  • helping on global tenders, including finding credentials and liaising with country BD professionals to bring together content needed by those leading the tenders;
  • communicating business opportunities received on forvismazars.com to the relevant countries to pursue; and
  • managing the Global BD Network meetings, including maintaining details of membership and the directory of contacts, adding people to Teams, developing presentations for the meetings and sending out invitations.

Votre profil

We welcome candidates with:

  • Graduate at Undergraduate or Master level (Bac+5) in business development or marketing, or a similar field;
  • a minimum of two years’ B2B business development and marketing experience (preferably within professional services or financial services);
  • excellent project management skills with an ability to work autonomously and on several projects concurrently, sometimes with short turn-around times;
  • excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English, to include strong proofreading and copywriting skills;
  • analytical and research skills;
  • a good working knowledge of MS Office, and web platforms (CMS/WordPress); and
  • strong soft skills and team mind-set, with attention to detail, confidence and an ability to work with partners and senior staff as well as professionals in other fields.
